I have a piece in an art show in Montreal this weekend. The show is at a very small venue, and it sold out really fast! The painting I submitted was actually created for another erotic art show, but I wasn’t accepted into that one. The theme of that show was “first love, true love”. Here was my proposal:
Many women experience their first orgasm in their youth, while rubbing against a pillow or a stuffed animal. As we grow up we learn to use our hands, adult toys, and of course our partners. But there is something very special and visceral about going back to that first object which helped bring us so much pleasure. In some ways, our first love.

Here is the progress of the painting. I always start with a digital drawing, then project it on canvas, trace and paint! I forgot to take a final photo with the inked outlines before adding a varnish, oops! So the final image in this post is the full digital image, not the acrylic painting. I loved her so much I turned her into my website banner!
