After writing my last post I realized my influences are mostly made up of male artists. A big part of this is because those were the people who were making erotic art when I was growing up. As I’ve grown and discovered more artists, I’ve fallen head over heels for female artists. Luckily for me there are more and more women creating erotic art, each with their own styles and stories. Today I want to share with you five of my favorite female erotic artists.
Olivia De Berardinis
Olivia De Berardinis is a masterful artist whose work focuses almost exclusively on female pinups. You might recognize her work from the pages of Playboy Magazine. It’s hard to believe her realistic pinups are rendered in watercolor. Looking at the delicate clothing, flowing over the soft skin of her subjects, one would think they have been plucked straight out of a boudoir photo shoot.
I truly admire her skill as an artist. She is a contemporary artist and is open for commissions, if they peak her fancy.
Come for: Classic sexy pinups

Erika is a painter, illustrator and creator of the comic Oh Joy Sex Toy! A web comic that began as a venue to review sex toys, and turned into an incredibly popular sex education resource.
In her comics she pes deeply into sexual health and pleasure, and always keeps a sense of humor. Erika has a seamless way of creating a perse cast of characters who don’t fit into a binary gender stereotypes. If you like humor, sex ed and erotica then you’ll love her work.

Rosalarin (the artistic pseudonym of Megan Rose Gedris) is an artist, writer and burlesque performer. Her drawings have a delicate, flowing line which compliments the soft watercolor rendering she often employs. Her work is made with women in mind, both as the audience and the subject matter. She has tons of comics to check out, so head over to her site right now!

When reading Amanda’s comics it doesn’t take long to realize she is a master of sequential art. She has a fun cartoony style, which I adore! Her characters have real personality in their expressions and body language, which are rendered in deeply sensuousness and voluptuous lines. Her comics are funny, sexy and a pleasure to read.

Although it is Rebeca’s 3D erotic work I want to explore today, it would be foolish to ignore the fact that she is an incredibly talented traditional portrait artist.
Her work has a distinctly feminine approach. Doll-like characters who are placed in BDSM costumes and poses. The soft, doll-like femininity of her characters is contrasted by the hyper realistic rendering of their faces and outfits. My love of latex and vinyl is perfectly satisfied here in her work. The lighting and texture of her fabrics is spot on. Her work is strong enough that I could see it in any contemporary art gallery.
Come for: Sexy 3D Bondage
Stay for: Beautiful pencil portraits
