After writing my last post<\/a> I realized my influences are mostly made up of\u00a0male artists. A big part of this is because those were the people who were making erotic art when I was growing up. As I’ve grown and discovered more artists, I’ve fallen head over heels for female artists. Luckily for me there are\u00a0more and more women creating erotic art, each with their own styles and stories. Today I want to share with you five of my favorite female erotic artists.<\/p>\n

Olivia De Berardinis is a masterful artist whose work focuses almost\u00a0exclusively\u00a0on female pinups.\u00a0 You might recognize her work from the pages of Playboy Magazine.\u00a0\u00a0It’s hard to believe her realistic pinups are\u00a0rendered in watercolor. Looking at the delicate clothing,\u00a0flowing over the soft skin of her subjects, one would think they have been plucked straight out of a boudoir\u00a0photo shoot.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0truly\u00a0admire her skill as an artist. She is a contemporary artist and is open for commissions, if they peak her fancy.<\/p>\n

Although it is Rebeca’s 3D erotic work I want to explore today, it would be foolish to ignore the fact that she is an incredibly talented traditional portrait artist.<\/p>\n

Her work has a distinctly feminine approach. Doll-like characters who are placed in BDSM costumes and poses. The soft, doll-like\u00a0femininity\u00a0of her characters is contrasted by the hyper realistic rendering of their faces and outfits.\u00a0My love of latex and vinyl is perfectly satisfied\u00a0here in\u00a0her work. The lighting and texture of her fabrics is spot on. Her work is strong enough that I could see it in any contemporary art gallery.<\/p>\n
